Adam
HIGGINS
Adam joined BIST after spending the past four years teaching in international schools in Vietnam and Sweden.
He graduated from Edge Hill University in 2021 with a degree in Primary Education, specialising in Mathematics. Before that, he worked for three years as a Teaching Assistant in England, where he developed a strong passion for supporting young learners and building positive relationships with all students. Adam believes the best classrooms are built on adaptability, approachability, and teamwork. He’s committed to helping every student grow by recognising their unique learning styles and strengths.
Outside of school, Adam is a big sports fan—especially when it comes to the NBA and NFL. He’s played football for years and has represented Stockport in both swimming and cross-country. He also loves a wide variety of music and film genres and enjoys writing reviews and sharing his thoughts on both. He is passionate about nature and wildlife experiences, and tries to include outdoor adventures in his travel plans whenever he can.
