Benjamin
SHORTEN
Benjamin joined the British International School of Timisoara as a Year 5 teacher at the beginning of our journey. He is currently part of the IB team as well as the Assistant Head of Secondary.
Benjamin grew up in Mallorca, Spain, where he attended Queen’s College International School. He is a native English and Spanish speaker, who spent five years teaching sports in English to Spanish children. He developed a love for Sports Science while being captain of his local rugby team and being part of the Spanish National team.
He studied Primary Education at the University of Dundee, in the United Kingdom and taught in Scotland after receiving his degree.
