BYRNE
Darren graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology, with a particular interest in the application of physics to archaeological challenges—such as dating methods and geophysical survey techniques. This interdisciplinary interest led him to gain a teaching qualification in secondary physics in 2010. Since then, he has taught physics and GCSE science in a variety of settings, including schools in London, Beijing, Surrey, and Amman.
Outside the classroom, Darren enjoys spending time outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle. He is particularly interested in cycling and takes every opportunity to explore new areas when possible. He is also a keen reader, with particular interests in science, history, and education.
