Originally from Chicago, USA, Nicole brings over 20 years of international teaching experience to the classroom. She has taught in a diverse array of countries including Australia, Hong Kong, Zambia, Jamaica, Qatar, and now Romania. Before entering the world of education, Nicole worked as a marine biologist, where she had the unique opportunity to study tiger sharks—an experience that continues to inspire her love for the natural world.
A passionate educator, Nicole is known for bringing biology to life through dynamic, hands-on activities, engaging discussions, and real-world connections that spark curiosity and deepen understanding. She believes in fostering a classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore and ask questions.
Outside the classroom, Nicole enjoys all things water-related, especially scuba diving. She also loves drawing, painting, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures and languages. Having spent much of her life in tropical regions, she’s now excited to experience the rhythm of seasons once again in Romania.
