Teacher of Romanian Language
Oana joined our school as a teacher of Romanian. She graduated from university in 1999, with a degree in philology – Romanian and English language and literature, and has been teaching ever since. She has honed her teaching skills in various environments, working with children and undergraduates in the Romanian formal school system, but also adults in face-to-face and online classes. She has enjoyed interacting with people from different countries at international conferences and during the international camps she has been a part of as a teacher and organizer.
She approaches her work with great enthusiasm, grateful that she is one of the people who get to do what they love. She is passionate about teaching and always strives to help her students grow as individuals, at the same time being aware that she has learned a lot from them over the years, becoming a better teacher in the process. This is a journey she fully enjoys. Outside the classroom, she enjoys travelling with her husband and their two teenage sons, discovering places and people.
